Resolution No. 46/NQ-CP dated 31 March 2023 on several policies in the management of entry, exit, transit, and residence of foreigners in Vietnam:

The government has given the Ministry of Public Security primary responsibility for and will work with the Ministry of Justice to coordinate the completion of procedures to submit to the National Assembly for consideration and inclusion in the Joint Resolution at the 5th Session (May 2023) on several policies in the immigration management of foreigners

• Electronic visas are being issued to nationals of all nations and territories
• Increase the validity of an e-visa from 30 days to three months, valid once or numerous times
• Increase the time restriction for giving a temporary residence certificate at the border gate to 45 days for those entering unilateral visa exemption

Withhold PIT from employee awards according to Official Letter No. 20479/CT-TTHT dated 10 April 2023 issued by Hanoi Tax Department:

Employee rewards for outstanding performance, granted by employers in cash or in kind in whatever form, are taxable income under clause 2, Article 2 of Circular No. 111/2013/TT- BTC issued 15 August 2013. Employers must withhold PIT (according to the progressive rate if there is a labor contract of 3 months or more) before paying employees and must submit PIT to the tax authority
